When in your life have you felt most out of control?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for February 10, 2008:
Giving birth...my body was merely the vessel. I had to learn to let go and let my body know what it knew how to do, and give it credit for that. It's really amazing, the body has this encoded wisdom, and birth is such a miraculous process...better handled by letting it "happen" rather than trying to control every detail.

Man, I just think the whole CONCEPT of childbirth is so incredible and it is the single greatest example of nature in action. What else could compare in humanity and human life?
As a bit of a wicked aside, perhaps if more men had to go through labour they might see that the control thing is just a waste of time and effort because they will never EVER compare to the force of nature… and perhaps a whole lot less wars would get started out at all… keeping in mind that there just aren't too many wars that have been started by women… ESPECIALLY mothers!
Have a wonderful day and be blessed for your wonderful experience. I still haven't had that beautiful experience but perhaps someday. Either way, I am pleased to have been able to kinda share in yours. Thanks.
